We will need to look into your credit history and perform the appropriate credit checks to determine whether you will be a suitable applicant. This is not only in our interest but in yours as well.

We will require a copy of your valid drivers licence (with the current address). Your driving history (this can be obtained from your state road and transport authority) & either your passport, birth certificate or citizenship certificate.

We know you can’t wait to pick up your new keys, however this will vary depending on how long it takes on the credit and background checks.

You can pick it up from one of 3 Locations. Give us a call and we can organise the most suitable place for you to receive your new Keyz car.

Yes, this is your car to use whenever you want.

No. Only one driver can be registered per vehicle for our vehicles in the Keyz Fleet however your spouse is allowed to use the vehicle for personal usage.

One of the benefits about Keyz, is that we offer all vehicles. So depending what is in stock, we can normally find you the kind of car you’re looking for.

Our membership fee is $199, which is a one time only fee when you sign up. The on-going rental is then charged according to what vehicle you are currently renting.

This will be for the work we do behind the scenes to get your application approved, such as credit and background checks, application processing and delivery of your vehicle.

Vehicle Insurance, compulsory third party insurance, registration, servicing, maintenance and Keyz auto protect.

We setup a weekly automatic deduction from you when you start your Keyz rental agreement. If for some reason a payment is rejected due to insuffiencet funds you will be charged an additional 10% of your weekly rental.

The vehicle will need to be returned in exactly the same condition it was picked up as. This includes the same fuel level the vehicle had on departure and professionally cleaned (we will require the professional cleaning receipt) If this is not done, we will need to charge you a fee for those extra costs.

Yes, if you’re involved in a car accident where you are at fault, you will incur a $2000 damage waiver fee, unless you have paid for the optional Damage Waiver reduction where you will need to refer to your rental agreement for the amount applicable.

If the cost of repairs are less than your damage waiver then you will be refunded the difference. If you’re involved in car accident where you aren’t at fault, there will be a $2000 damage waiver taken out. However this will be returned to you once the third party claim has been approved.

Of course however we do have a maximum distance of 150 kilometres from  the Brisbane CBD.

Your weekly rental fee includes all scheduled, maintenance and warranty costs. We discuss this in full detail with you when you pick up your car.

*Please note that depending on the maintenance and service requirements, you may need to leave your car with us for a certain period of time. However we will provide a loan vehicle so you are not inconvenienced.

When returning your car, we will require 2 weeks notice. You can drop it off to two locations detailed in your rental agreement.

You will be charged for any time not given. For example if you were to return the vehicle after the initial two week rental with no notice you would be charged two weeks rental. If you only gave one week notice you would be charged for one additional week. Or if you returned the vehicle on within the first week you would be charged the remaining 3 weeks rental..

Here at Keyz we deliver great flexibility. As long as you give us at least 2 weeks notice, you can drop off your vehicle and pick up your new one when you get back with no additional joining fees saving you weekly rental charges while you were enjoying your time away.

Here at Keyz we understand everyone is busy and we will give our customers plenty of time to be able to organise their day so they can come in and pick up their new car. If you can’t make it we will organise a time that is suitable for you. If that driver doesn’t turn up without given prior notice then there is a daily charge of $100 deducted.

At Keyz all our fleet are monitored to ensure the lowest possible price. This means we can track the kilometres of your vehicle and will notify you when the changeover will be.
